Lisa Zeppegno - Indie Acupuncture

Hi! I’m Lisa Zeppegno. I have been practicing acupuncture for over 20 years and herbal medicine for longer than that. I am constantly in awe of the innate intelligence of the body to heal itself (sometimes with a little help from needles and herbs). I try to meet people where they are at. I love treating people for the first time to introduce them to acupuncture. I think herbs are a magical way to love yourself everyday. I often give food tips or recipes to my patients because I believe wholeheartedly that food is medicine.

I love the magic of acupuncture and herbal medicine. I am passionate about food, herbs, spices and plants. Cooking is my creative outlet. I am always thinking about my next meal and am frequently browsing new recipes. I pride myself on being able to whip up a delicious meal with whatever is left in the fridge. I connect with nature through walks with my dog or ambling through the woods on a horse. Swimming and meditation are the two ways I bring myself back to center.

I graduated from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2000 where I studied acupuncture, herbs and nutrition. I am accredited and licensed both statewide and nationally.

I am certified in Sports Medicine Acupuncture to treat pain, injuries and enhance sports performance. I studied acupuncture sports medicine with renowned teachers, Matt Callison, L.Ac., John Steinke, L.Ac., and Whit Reeves, L.Ac. Additional studies include Medical Qi Gong, muscle testing, whole food nutrition, women’s health and fertility and Dr. Richard Tan’s Balance Method.
